This is a very fun Carette water toy, she stands 7 3/4" tall & the base is 9 1/2" X 6" it has probably 70% of its paint & operates well....scooping water out of the base with its 8 water buckets, proceeding to a tip bar & releasing the water into a hopper & back down into the base. I did a leak test & found the base reservoir to be 100% sound, upon further inspection I observed that the water leaking around the base to be just the water traveling down the hopper pan to the support structure when all is in motion, I think I need to make a small brass funnel to drop into the hopper hole to help guide the water better. anymore further information on this toy would be greatly appreciated.

Man Bruce, I'm a sucker for those water elevators and fountains. Love 'em. When you quickly pan over to the Jensen, you get a sense of how big this is.
Perfect speed to run it at. I would guess faster does not add anything to the motion, might even hinder.
I'll look in my Toys of Carette book later tonight to see if I can find a model number.
Thanks for the video!

Thanks Scott...that would be greatly appreciated. your right about faster is worse & looks terrible doing it, this is incredibly easy to power, very clever how the French/Germans do things toywise.

A great accessory and an excellent video showcasing it.
Thanks for sharing!

a short video of vastly better water management, small changes sometimes make for a fine improvement.

These two relatively small fixes certainly made a vast difference (https://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji482.png)
The need for a spout in the hopper, which the "funnel" nicely provides, crossed my mind on the first movie, but must admit that i am pretty impressed by your wax solution there.
Donīt think the idea would have sparked so easily with me, but seing it here now makes it seem so very obvious.
Thank you, i will certainly keep that one in mind ;D
Well done Bruce !
