Title: Outdoor Heating
Post by: Jim on May 13, 2019, 07:48:36 pm
We stopped off at a one horse town out West of us on Sunday for a pub lunch and it was freezing (by Aussie standards) around 5° C or 41° F

Another month and I'll be dreaming of temperatures that make you want to sit by the fire.

We may have another fire or three over the course of the next week as a storm is tracking down from the north, which is very unusual this late in the spring, but not unheard of by any means. But just a couple of weeks from now we can expect to be getting into triple digits on the old thermometer, and it will be October before we'll feel safe from those extremes again.

Much prefer winter .... well, late fall through early spring anyway, as it is far easier to put on extra clothes than it is to take off enough to help with the heat!

Looks mighty cozy where the kids are, there by the fire!!!

I'm the same Daniel, there's only so much clothing that you can take off and summers are l-o-n-g

Daylight saving stopped here a few weeks ago, now instead of getting dark around 9.00pm its getting dark around 5.20pm

We've just had a load 2.5 tonnes of split, seasoned firewood delivered, we usually go through two (occasionally 3) loads of those per winter.
