Bonjour Dennis,
As you know it, also based on my experience, steam is 90% trouble for 10% pure pleasure, which is why I am making this percentage evolve through systematic tests of all my boats in the bathtub... provided that they are less than 1.37m long. And it turns out that I have several that exceed this size ...
Here are my limits (1,35m) :

My largest steam (paddle) boat is 1,50m long and 0,55 m wide... A nightmare to move it  :(
