Grandpa says this plow was brought to the family farm in 1955 when his dad was renting the farm out. The guy took the coulters off, used them on another plow and left this plow on the edge of the woods. In the summer of 2005 my grandpa hauled it down to his place and put it in a rock bed as “yard art”. 16 years later I told him I was going to free it up and see what it could do. For being so rusty, sitting over 65 years, missing coulters, very hard/dry ground and 4 foot tall weeds it didn’t do too bad
Don’t have any pictures from the first plowing (wasn’t pretty anyway
), but I ran out of ground, so I ran a drag over it and plowed it again
These were taken half way through the second plowing
