Been assembling a few cheap plastic kits within the last months, and thought i´d share, as i found them fun (and easy) to put together, and more importantly possible contenders to be steam accessories...which they sort of proved right today.
4 out of 5 i´ve built, will easily be hauled by a toy steam engine. Unfortunately the last one, being a rubberband/spring-loaded model, just yanks to much in its own construction, to keep the balls on track when hauled via belt.
Will however see if i can´t build some supports for it at the critical areas, so that a proper movie can be made of that one as well.
Anyway, here´s the 4 succes-stories so far...

I watched them all....gotta say that Hexcalator Ball Machine can really move some balls. I must watch them again to see which one (if not all) must reside in the St. Paul steam shop
Thanks for showing us this Jan.
Great fun Jan! I’ve been adding a few things like this as they seem to attract the most attention from kids at model engine shows. I really like how the forklift “pecks” at the balls like a bird digging worms/bugs out of the ground
Yes, Great Fun.
I ordered the Hexcalator Ball Machine from Amazon today.
