Thanks Jim. Yes, the little Renault ft came out slightly after the big British tanks of ww1,
About 1917 0r 18 but it already showed the characteristics recognized in later generations
of tanks. Such as rear engine layout and revolving turret. Incidentally, Takom's version
of the hotchkiss mg equipped version of this tank include ammo drum racks these should
not be used with this gun as they are for a later variant of this tank equipped with the
Riebel m. 1931 machine gun. A major error. If you are going to build this version do not install these racks.otherwise the kit was a fun but challenging build. I intend to build a conversion of this tank to the 1931 model in the future as I resurrect my long-dormant
Model building skills.
