Very sad news, condolences to the family.
Sorry to hear of Scott's passing. While I didn't know him well, We did correspond over an engine sale once, And I still enjoy his Video's. RIP fellow Steamer.
Thanks to everyone for the very kind remarks for Scott. He was my brother. It's still hard to believe he's still not with us.
I know he really enjoyed model steam engines (sorry if I'm not calling them correctly). I actually remember as kids, him having one. Many years passed where he didn't have one, but then he got back into the hobby a decade or two ago. He had a number of engines in his dining room, and proudly displayed them. I could certainly see the interest and fascination with them.
Whatever led up to his passing, he apparently started selling off his collection in preparation. I did not find out about that until he left.
Thank you again for all the wonderful comments. Yes indeed: the loss of a True Gentleman.

Hi Jeff, Thank you very much for weighing in here.

It’s been a year already! I’ve been missing Scott’s threads as well as our long competition going after rare German engines.
I am very sorry to hear this...R.I.P...
I get such a pang when I come across one of Scotts videos on Youtube.
I am with you on this, Jim.
