Same all the way over here Nick
USPS does work exclusively with Royal Danish Mail, and packages gets delivered to my door...or the local grocerystore, which serves a a "post office" out here in the rural parts.
FedEx/UPS parcels, does get other private contractors to deliver.
FedEx isīt all bad, as they use contractors with reasonably close local drop-point coverage.
UPS specifically has a very poor service, with choices being closest pick-up 45 mins away...or a full day of work, to be at home to sign within their insane 12 hour delivery-window from 7AM-7PM.
