Dang...why would you cut below the notch, a mind-fart or was it intentional?Anyway, very happy that it sort of solved itself with a gust of wind, without any major damage to you or your property.Very nice batch you have there, but i feel your pain, and thatīs just to some extent even, as i do not suffer from anything worth mentioning (physically at least 
).But after 3 decades of felling and splitting just about 35m2 (1200ft2 ?) of firewood every year, i am starting to know what toll it takes, when working the pile.A couple of years ago, i finally bit the bullet, and invested in a pellet stove, which has reduced the need for firewood radically...but naturally upped the expenses somewhat in return.Nonetheless i highly recommend one of those Lenn, very easy to use as a backup if nothing else.
