Might be quite a few weeks before Summer actually starts for you mate, but at least you're into Spring now and working toward the TOO HOT temperatures that you folks call normal!   ;c)

We will finally be down to the 60’s for the 1st of October but have been in the 80’s all week! No rain for 10 days, lots of corn and beans being picked

Had all the ceiling fans on already, bedroom one has been going all night for a couple of weeks and all windows open.
We don't really have a Spring, its cold and your throwing logs on the fire for our FREEZING 8°C - 12°C (ok sometimes it gets a lil' colder) nights and then boom its HOT.

We had a pretty wet Summer that was exceptional for the farmers, they cut so much silage it was unbelievable. There's still heaps left after Winter.
They might be using it this Summer for feed as its pretty dry now already.

For the first time in living memory we have a 8'-10' Great White shark in the Estuary that's was chasing and balling up a school of salmon off the beach and made its way over the sandbar and inside.
We've had Grey Nurse sharks before but never a Great White.

The pics below are about 20 metres in front of our home as its feeding on a school of mullet.

Its the school holidays here and there's a fair few holiday makers and I haven't seen a single person swimming or even on a stand up paddle board!

" I haven't seen a single person swimming or even on a stand up paddle board!" You show a large shark feeding on Mullets and wonder why no one is swimming ? I'm thinking "he'll no" I ain't getting in that water unless a submarine is around me 😋

Jenny is with you Bruce.....she'd like to see it dead hanging upside down by its tail so she knew it was gone out of the lake, they are a protected species in Australia.
It hasn't been sighted for around a week, so hopefully its made its way back out to the ocean.....but who knows and that's the problem!

I was hoping the holiday makers who are here for the 10 days of the school holidays would 'test' the waters :)
