Larry, 4th. of July usually is pretty well covered here in Denmark by the press.
Not many Danes without family in the US, albeit my own connection is pretty far fetched these days.

In fact, just 30 miles south of here, the single largest official celebration of the American Indepence Day outside the USA, has been held every year since 1912.
(Besides 1940-45, since Adolf Hitler didnīt seem to approve all that much, when it came to celebrating the US during the occupation.)
These days thereīs usually around 2-3000 people attending, but in the years right after WWII as many as 50000 people was participating.
