You know what's sad about all of this, the deplorable behavior by a lot of people.
I just can't get over people fighting over toilet paper, just makes me wonder whatever happened to common decency.
There's a ton of bugs out there wanting to kill us or feed on us, not to mention the Sun is trying to obliterate us every waking second.
It makes me laugh when I hear experts talking about coughing or sneezing in your elbow, washing hands, blah blah blah.
I can remember being taught basic hygiene in state school 53 plus years ago in amongst that courtesy, standing up for elders and women.
Make me wonder what people are being taught in schools nowadays, my wife or I go shopping for essentials every 3/4 days, I refuse to horde as I don't have the ability to keep what needs keeping in a proper environment.
I was watching a couple of mates in the shopping center the other day, one wearing a mask and the other not. I really don't think that a vast majority quite get the dilemma we are in at the moment.
It will be interesting to monitor and see human behavior when the flu season hits or when the next super virus rears its head, will our country Australia or others cease to do business and lock down at every threat now?
I'm not saying what is being done should or shouldn't be done, but if they are people need to behave differently or need re education as to how to not only look after themselves but others as well.
Trusting you are all safe, and seeing as garbage was mentioned you would think that JUNKMAIL in the letter box would be common sense as well too. I love reading my ALDI catalog but I just get a big stick and push it all through the big hole out onto the footpath.
The reason I mention Junk in the mail box, my very good friend of many years has contracted emphysema and lung cancer now on top of that, I took her to hospital the other day for a regular checkup, she was armed with gloves and face mask for when she gets to hospital. Mind you on the way to the car she grabbed a handful of Junkmail to toss it in the bin, I just looked at her shook my head and asked why she did that, all she could say was force of habit. In her situation a common cold can now end her life a lot sooner.
Stay safe people use paper towels and dispose of them, don't use hand towels put them on the rack and wait for the other person to wipe their hands on it.
