Now...this is a bit over the top literally!!!!!
I've been busy for awhile making this pipework and installing it onto the ceiling in my steam room.
Hard to take photos of it to show just how well it turned out....gotta' say it looks impressive!
Its a long weekend here in Oz and we've had a fair few family and friends and they've all been wow'd,
probably because they think - "Yep he's finally truly lost it" :)

Meanwhile, not so long ago, I recall suggesting that you might consider the ceiling when you were bemoaning the fact that you had framed ephemera that you didn't really have room to put up, and your response was that Jen wasn't going to let you do that ...... something must have changed?!?!

Perfect spot for large face gauges also me thinks, nice addition Jim. I can't help but saying initially I thought you had installed sprinkler heads. 😊

Cheers guys.....I'm presently having a coffee break from drilling holes in the outside walls and installing and wiring up lights that arrived a few days ago!

P.s smartarse eldest son grinningly said "Is the automatic sprinkler system so you don't burn the family house down" :)

This has kept me busy over an Australia Day Long Weekend installing these wonderful metal steampunkish lights and wiring them up through the wall cavities with these beautiful carbon filament pear shaped light bulbs. They give out such a warm soft glow, pretty impressed how they turned out!

Thanks one and all much appreciated.

Boy oh boy there's some hours in all this, pretty satisfying to look at it now and see the atmosphere that I was hoping for, did in fact come to fruition.
