This is a few minutes to the West of me looking West towards Pigeon House mountain (named by Captain James Cook in 1770 as he sailed up the East coast on his discovery of Australia) the clouds and sun gave some beautiful light.
This was pre bushfires, it was all burnt, very slowly coming back after 6 months.
Beautiful panorama Jim .... made even better by the naming of the most prominent feature by a personal hero of mine!

Thanks Daniel, Cook was an incredible man.
He was taught to us in primary school and high school and there are statues of him in Sydney and even this -
"Originally located in Yorkshire, England, and built by the parents of Captain James Cook, the cottage was brought to Melbourne by Sir Russell Grimwade in 1934. Astonishingly, each brick was individually numbered, packed into barrels and then shipped to Australia".
Nearly every school child my age could have told you about Captain Cook's exploits.
Sadly he has gone on the nose in recent times with the younger generation calling him the instigator of the 'invasion of Australia'.

That ..... is such a sad commentary on the times in which we now live!!!
