Plastic models
« on: June 27, 2020, 01:11:29 am »
Does anyone else build model kits? I've recently returned to the hobby after about 20 years.

I also recently had some very bad experience with an internet business named Hobby Models.
Including ;
Evasive and rude emails
Failure to give updates on ordered items
Shipping orders incomplete yet charging for the missing items
Not answering phone calls to the extent of giving numbers that are not in service. One number led me
To an answering machine with a child telling about a day care, yet the number was one that was listed
As being for Hobby Models.
They sent me an email suggesting I was being paid by their competitors to harass  them.
They finally sent me a shipment but it was missing several items. I've been trying to contact them to
Send me the missing items or refund me their cost-no deal. I guess I'm out of luck

Avoid these people !

Check out their scores on the BBB site.
Illuminating.
So sorry.  Been there.

Yes, saw the BBB site but only after I "purchased" my orders.
