Spice chest
« on: May 28, 2023, 05:30:48 pm »
Janet wanted something to put her overflow of herbs and spices in so looking around I found plans for this apothecary chest. I had enough red oak to do the job but didn't realize until well along how heavy it would be. At a little over 32 pounds it's a chunk but, then again, it won't get pushed around  much and definitely will stand up to whatever comes its' way. Here's pictures of the start and finish of the project and shows it turned out just okay but Jan liked it and that's what counts!

WOW Larry, that little thing weighs 32 pounds? Man, that must be really solid.

Looks really great, and I'm sure it will perform its function very well.
