Just to add to the confusion...it has a slotted pin Nick.
I would assume that your slightly younger un-slotted crankpin, is a result of running out of finished crankpins.
Especially since it seem rather long, compared to the one un-slotted pin i have here in my collection.
If he had a larger batch due for delivery, i can easily imagine
that Jensen either decided to dig into a box holding semi-manufactured but fully usable parts, or swiftly made the pins needed, without spending time on the last machining operation,
