I have two Weedens, No.670 & No.3 that have knobs that used some kind of hard white rubber rings.  While my No.670 still had its "ring" (which I think is fairly rare) it was ready to fall off after a few adjustments of the steam pressure.  Then when I got my No.3, both the whistle & throttle had these same knobs.  The throttle's "hub" actually is malformed and sharp as heck and its a hard turner too.

Anyways, I been on a hunt for a O-Right that will work and I found a "better than nothing replacement".  They are not a thick, are a much tighter fit, and not solid white.  But they are thick enough to rise above the "hub" and show no signs of slipping.  Finding White O-Rings seems hard to find, at least for me it is!
