Amazon Review
« on: April 16, 2021, 10:22:00 am »
I don't know if this is exactly a fraud and if I would get my refund after giving the review, but it does make one wonder about some of the reviews on Amazon.

"Hello dear friend,

I wish you a wonderful day!

This is Camille, one of the Amazon sellers. I am writing to inquire if you are interested in testing our products for free on Amazon. (We learned your email address the last time you contacted us because we had previously received a free gift request from you in our shop. I'm so sorry if this email bothered you.)

We need some reviews of our SUP electric air pump, please check the picture in the attachment. Here are our rules for the product testing:
1. We provide the pump freely, but we really need your positive rating and reviews for exchange.
2. We will make refund covers fee via PayPal after receive your review.

Please reply us here with your Amazon profile of review directly if you are interested in. We will send more details to complete this collaboration.

Looking forward to working with you!

Best Regards,
Camille"

I have my doubts about the legitimacy of this correspondence Frank , As Amazon is just a retailer ( really just a medium for companies to sell there wares)it doesnt make sense that Amazon would care much about this sort of thing, I could see the manufacturer being interested...but not Amazon.
also "1. We provide the pump freely, but we really need your positive rating and reviews for exchange." sounds like tit for tat review.
