Crank shaft bearings .
Plans call for steel shaft in cast iron bearings ?
 I am not happy with this idea
I want brass and the bearings are only about 20 mm apart so plenty of room for error.
Mill top of bearing stands down a bit .
Then mill some brass into bearing shape but as one piece for both.

Drill , tap and bolt in place.

Then cut and mill to make way for the eccentic
