Charlie...thanks for the video.

I hooked mine up in similar fashion and the result
was as follows.  At least the path from the ram pump
to the boiler cock into the boiler is clear.  I was
able to remove the fitting on the bottom and a small
ball bearing appeared (check valve?) but no spring
where one belonged.  I think the ram can pump, but
without the spring for the check valve no chance.
Now, I'm on the hunt for a tiny spring.  I know it
has to fit but how long should it be?  Maybe someone
has a spare or a go-to dealer for teensy tiny springs.
Anyway, a cool engine that I'm coaxing into shape!
