Bassett Lowke Tangye Generating Plant
« on: September 01, 2020, 04:34:33 pm »
Here's a video of my 1934 Bassett Lowke Tangye Generating Plant in original condition.

The person i bought it of told me he used it with his brother for about a year and then
it was dismantled and stored till he rebuilt it  five years ago when i aquired it.

Enjoy Trevor.

Has just the right amount of character, and in such wonderful condition for 85+ years. A well deserved “Engine of the Month” that any of us would love to own

Thanks again for the video  ;)

A beautiful BL plant, i've always admired those BL Tangye engines.

I know they made these engines in two sizes and the larger one with the water pump is the rarer model.
