That (those) look SUPERB!!!

Seems somewhere I have the "wreck" of a Bing Monna that looks about like that, though in nowhere near that nice of a condition!

I'd guess pre-war 1910ish for the engine.

Likely sometime in the 1920s for the flat-fixer, postwar anyway maybe.

Rainer has helped me ID it as a Monna #13675/1  c1904-12 and through some google searching I have found the drive model to be a #10/2102  c1920-29, listed as both “Kraftfahrer” and “Kraftwagenführer” which translate to “driver”

Very nice engine and rare toy! And the kids seem to enjoy playing with these fine toys!

Bing produced a "Monna" and a "Vanna" engine. I wonder if the names were inspired by a play, written by Maurice Maeterlinck in 1902, which must have been quite fashionable in those days...

Jeezo Nick, you are way too quick for me. I see you captured my first edition post here before I did a minor edit, to bring it to where I was trying to go ... no more than moments later!

Not getting anything by you it seems .........  ;c)

What a wonderful and extremely rare addition to your collection Nick, congratulations!!!

Eventhough i am no Bing expert by far, i would have to slightly disagree with your dating of the 10/2102, and lean stronger towards other sources, which dates these between late 1920s and early 1930´s.

Here it is, cropped from the 1930 catalogue, so at the very least, it would not be gone by 1929:

Thank you for that Jan, I appreciate the correction as there are too many incorrect dates floating around the internet, which is where I found the one I posted.
