Does anyone have catalog or other information on this engine? Don't be fooled by the polished brass; I believe it's late 19th century British or French. Brass had been polished and lacquered by a previous owner who never ran it (missing its steam line among other things)--just looked pretty on a shelf. At least the lacquer has now been removed and will develop a nice patina over the next couple decades. Note unusual overhead valve chest and offset eccentric strap. I really wanna lean on it being made by Radiguet. The boiler rivets and pinstriping give it away.  I feel like some hardware had been updated like some screws.  Handles seem similar.  Chimney looks like mine.  If its not radiquet perhaps a shoenner.

Radiguet is a possibility. Those are false rivets as you may know--just punched in the brass. I replaced two valve handles based on one original that was left. I also added the crankpin (screw) as it was missing, but matched it to the female threads in the crank disc. Other than the burner and steam line, everything else is original including the paint on the flywheel.

Sure is nice, have no clue what make it is though.
