Electric Tramway.
« on: January 29, 2021, 02:01:42 am »
Hi,

It is possibly difficult to believe but I have got a bit tired of playing in the shed.  So I have started working through and coping some of the many videos taken some years ago.  This video might be found interesting.

Take care Tony.

Hi Doug,

Yes, it is a bit difficult to believe.  We live in South Wales close to one of the hardest hit Covid areas in the UK so my wife and I have only leave the house to excise.  Our food is delivered and we go to the shops maybe every two weeks or so.  Our children and grandchildren live away so for the last 10 or so months we have been home.  We are lucky, we have interests, a garden and live in an area of plenty of green and good walks. What it must be like for someone with children who live in a high rise I cannot imaging.  When I worked we had 15 staff selling things you couldn't eat and didn't keep you warm which would mean that we wouldn't have been open for most of the last year.

I have been in the workshop quite a lot with might be considered proper work.  Our son the young man in the video now pushing 50 makes exhibits for museums and the like has had supply and subcontractor problems so he has been sending me work.  The trouble is its work you have to finish not stop and have a beer and do it tomorrow.

Also its winter and the shed is at the bottom of the garden and takes sometime to warm up.  So that is my excuse!

Today was a good day, my wife and I had our first Covid vaccination and a date for the second.

It will be alright in the end, if it isn't right, it isn't the end.

Take care Tony.
