Empire B35 circa 1935

This one was part of my Wilburn Lake Trade Days swap with Charlie(txlabman), and was the one I rushed to steam. I've been wanting one for a while. Reliably Empire and great fun to watch.

Impressive looking engine, and a great sound once it revs up.

I've always thought it down right amazing that relatively small boiler is able to get and sustain, that rather large fan wheel, spinning as fast as it does.

Thanks, Jan. The build up of sound is fun...just keeps getting faster and faster.

Thanks, Charlie...The video is a bit long-winded but eventually speeds up to full-tilt.
They do spin quite freely- I did a quick test on air and they spin up even faster with just 10 psi. Great engines!
