I forgot to add that this engine has had quite a few modifications to the original plans, for example it features all BA fixings and has a gunmetal piston and valve and a stainless steel piston and valve rod. It also features phosphor bronze bearing bushes and locomotive style cylinder drains, so it really was designed for steam and hard work which hopefully it will get once i've sourced a good boiler later down the line.
