Tiny beam engine running a load.
« on: April 29, 2019, 07:59:40 pm »
Jins tiny beam can do work but it's a job in itself to hold it down. When it is well run in I plan to make it a running desk piece with an electric motor driving it with an o-ring belt. Meanwhile it's wide open or nothing at all!

Considering how small the piston and displacement on that is, I'd say it is doing great!

Fun project and test piece in any case.

Seen that beam many times on ebay, but never realized it was that small. Fun video Tim!  :D

I agree with Daniel as that is doing well powering that accessory. It looks very similar to the one on Ministeam's website except that one has a boiler.

It's a nice looking "little" beam engine - I'm sure it'll look good as a display piece slowed down some.
