Weeden No. 33 Resurrected by Danny!
« on: January 31, 2020, 08:06:02 am »
The Weeden No. 33 stands 12 1/2" high, has a 3 1/2" diameter nickel plated brass boiler and 6" diameter cast iron maroon enamel base. Featuring twin 3 1/2" flywheels, introduced in 1896 and in production until 1915.

This was an eBay buy. The firebox and base were missing and the steam line had been replaced with a copper pipe piece that would not allow sufficient steam to the cylinder.

This is what we started with:

Danny resurrected this engine for me and gave me a lathe and soldering tutorial.

Thank you Danny!

YeeHaw! 🤠🤠

A very attractive design and I like how they have "Weeden" on the engine itself. Good to see another Centenarian saved.

Hope to see you turning out parts on your lathe soon  ;)

The motorized lazy susan should help with your videos  8)

Danny is a well oiled restoration machine.

It was a joy to watch him work.

I am going to do a video on all my tools between my time with Danny, Scott, Benny and Gil.

It is going to be a few weeks as I am traveling the next two weeks for work.
