I certainly loved and admired all of Lenn's nautical creations, and his pond as well, but that is all part of history, as is the tale of the "Big Fitz", which was well documented many a year ago by the Discovery Channel, as seen here:

Just seen this post thanks Nick for remembering the great Fitz, we really miss the boat pond too and running the boats.
I`m getting so laid up now days i can`t get down by the ground anymore, can`t run the trains anymore either.
Ahhh the fun of aging.
Thanks for the replies too.  :)

I always liked that internal thunk that the Fitz  made , seemed so very realistic.

A most fitting tribute, watching Lennīs very nice rendition of the Fitz, banging its way through the Hackensack Ocean there.
Thanks for the reminder Nick!

They just interviewed a lady on our news that gave birth to her first child only 4 days after and at the same time lost her father in the sinking. Both sides of her family decided not to tell her till after she gave birth and 46 years later she was still quite emotional.

By the way Lenn @Pitchy , I hope you are keeping well!
