its with some regret that Im selling my 1" Minnie.

This was built in 1974 by a talented engineer and was featured on the cover of model engineer.

The engine has been built to a high standard and has recently late last year been fitted with a new boiler etc.

It runs lovely (see vid) but has two small problems,1) the regulator has a slight leak and doesnt shut of the engine completely but will stop if you stop the flywheel and 2) not sure if the built in water pump is delivering what it should? Has new nitrile balls fitted.These problems could be sorted but I have neither the knowledge,skill or machinery to do the jobs (thats if machine are needed?)

I fitted it with rubber tyres and has a new smokebox door with a star etc on it,i have the original as well if required?

Comes with homemade blower thats works spot on,oil,shove,brush etc together with a copy of 'Minnie' book and full size plans.

Short answer, Yes!

Always wanted a Minnie, but unfortunately this one has come up for sale at the wrong time for me. 

But really, is there ever a "right" time? Isn't there just a "I want it'" time?

Oh man that sure would look nice nestled in next to my Maxitrak.  Hope you sell this baby soon, or i am likely to have an impetuous moment and buy it
