sorry for the long whistle blast, I was trying to show how it built steam....lol

Hello fellow steamers
here we have "for sale"  Jensen #75 ELBB
it is on a  11 1/2" X 13 1/2" plinth & features a 600W cartridge heater & can also be used with Esbit tablets as a "dual fuel" the water level must always be able to be seen so the cartridge heater isn't ruined. the firebox, chimney support & chimney have all been bead blasted & repainted with a very high temperature "burnt copper" paint. it has a built in variac with a 10' 16/3 ga. power cord.  I put (2) roller ball bearings (sealed) in the axle stanchions & the "new" M-50 angle transmission has (4) working brass oil cups in each of those stanchions. it has an aluminum chimney support to keep the chimney in place & ventilation through the center of the chimney to keep the electronics cooler. I made a set of faux brass governor balls for it & it has a custom "SPS" brass tag. it runs equally well in either direction. the fuel tray is insulated from the plinth underneath for added protection. long runs @ low voltage is easily possible. the boiler bands, chimney, sight glass was all bought new from Jensen Mfg recently.  it heats up enough to steam in 3 minutes under full power & will run at least 45 minutes with a full tank , top of the window to the bottom of sight glass @ 150-200 watts power. "Never run water level below bottom of sight window" I have 8  hrs labor in this. Punch press & Baker fan "NOT" included. PM me if interested Please.
don't forget to view in "HD"\
Price is $350 plus $20 shipping USA only , anymore shipping, I'll absorb it, any less & I'll refund in package.

That was quite the make-over you've done on that one Bruce.

Impressive SPS custom work as always!!!

What happened to you evilbay Bruce?

There is always here .... or Craig's List, or take it to a show.

Of course there is always the other option ......................................... keep it for yourself!!!

Much of it was posted here Daniel,

I decided not to bore anyone with more updates, but suffice it to say that although someone took over my account & sold an expensive item (or 2) under my account & then made off with the funds on a misdirected account (allowed by eBay)...Ebay has once again decided that I owe the $3270 & has restricted my account until I pay for what the scammer got away with (which I won't) I have removed all forms of payment from my account (I hope) dealing with evilbay is definitely a 1 sided conversation with emails that cannot be replied too & messages that they wont respond to, although they say they'll get back to me in 24-48 hrs....they never have. people think they're safe, I am here to tell you ebay can & WILL do anything they want to you financially.
Re; selling here, things don't sell all that well here, we all want a bargain. Facebook marketplace is another option, but Ebay is where I have done the best, I had a pretty strong following there & it's a shame we haven't gotten it worked out yet, doesn't look likely.
if I kept "everything I made" I would need a warehouse. I love to build, modify, restore, enjoy & then move on to the next project.

Unfortunately nothing will give you the exposure that ebay will… maybe it’s your turn to take advantage of ebay with a new/fake account, list with high price and somehow advertise a way to contact you in the pictures  ;)

Another option would be advertising sales through your youtube videos…

you are very much correct Nick; I have a pretty strong following on eBay & am realizing more everyday how valuable that is to me. I could make an account under my wife's name, but I think Ebay would recognize the IP address & shut it down. I have over 23 yrs. with Ebay & (really) hate to lose it. i did get ahold of a new person that claims they are trying to help....but I've heard that a few times now. selling on my youtube channel just strikes me as inappropriate.

I wish I would've known about this but I wasn't on this forum then - I would've paid you $500 for this.

That's a dang shame to be !@#$%^ over that way. I bought that big setup the other day on market place. Never thought I would see anything like it there, but it was. Might be a good venue for you as you can handle the financial end of it (for Now). Ebay is definitely for the buyer and not the seller. I've never sold anything there but I have heard more horror stories besides your's. It just ludicrous that they do people the way they do!

Respectful regards, Mark
