I didnt know they made one with a functioning governor.
They didn´t steamwise Bruce...
But the old D32 has a mechanical connection from the governor to the RPM gauge, whereas the current version use an inductive magnetic proximity switch, which forwards its signal to the gauge...or so i´ve heard, as i haven´t had the chance to inspect any of the new ones yet
If my info stands true, i have no doubt that the later is more precise, but IMO loses quite a bit of the craftmanship feel, by jumping the fence at lowest point like that.
