I bought this engine from Dave Hart at davesengineroom four years ago and it has been in the display cabinet since. I checked its' running and it takes fairly high pressure but may need running in or ?. I'm asking $600.00 firm PayPal friends and family with shipping additional at cost. I'll leave it on for a week and then off to Ebay.

Nice engine Larry! Could be a real easy fix. May just be the slide valve needs to be looked at. Sounds like a bargain!
I think I have OCD??

Larry when you say " it takes fairly high pressure " to run.....how high ? I am intrigued by this engine.

Using an air compressor blow gun it took about 25-30 psi but hard to tell without good connection. I don't think there is anything wrong with the engine, I think it's just stiff and perhaps the timing could be tweaked. And it's on Ebay now of course.

Thanks Larry, yes I've noticed it on E-bay also. that is a lot of pressure....hummmm, I need another project like I need 10 more acres to mow, but I keep drawing myself back to this for some reason.
