Wasnīt doubting that itīd climb to and above your offer in here, as that was more than reasonable in that age and condition.
Was slightly surprised though, that it ended nearly 50 buck above Mini-Steamīs current salesprice.
Guess some really wanted one of the earlier twin SV versions.

Thanks Jan.  Payment was received immediately after the close of the auction, and the buyer lives  in Texas.  I sent him a few extras given the final price.  A pin oiler, extra tubing and two boxes of Esbit tablets.  I also included my own instructions for cleaning, oiling and firing the engine.

Charlie, just to be clear...

I am not suggesting the price was above value.
Itīs a beaut, and i would have paid the same with no remorse, if i had the urge for one of these in this version.

Nonetheless, it was a very nice gesture adding the extras, am certain your generosity will be appreciated :)

Hi Charlie, I am glad it is going well on ebay.

A few years ago  I listed 3 nice pieces on the Mamod board, left them up for a couple weeks with zero interest, not even an offer. Afterward, I listed them on eBay with a buy-it-now at my original asking price plus enough to cover the eBay fees. All three sold in less than 2 hours. Go figure!
