Thanks Randy

It was merely the missing screw on the old 10 that made me wonder, very very nice engine !

Weird with that old style armature in the later standalone generator, but am guessing that is just another example of Mr. Jensen using up old stock.

I followed that #5 on Ebay, and really wondered why it didn´t go any higher...
Guess people was scared off by the rust on the smokestack support/rear end of firebox, signalling a defective heater tube.
Have you investigated if that indeed is the case yet?
Anyway, you got yourself a very nice classic Jensen there, congrats !
Cheers

The tube has a small leak in it. I will put a new tube in it. I think Tom Jensen done what ever he wanted to do. I have about give up on trying to figure out what or how he done things. Glad you like the collection I've put together. I've got a crazy idea I want to do (if possible). I want to try and collect all the different versions of the model 10s. Dont know if I can get it done but I'm sure gonna try. So far I have 8 different ones now and still hunting.

Hunting down all variations is a pretty big quest, but certainly doable for a dedicated collector as yourself.

One thing i know though, is that you´re way ahead of me already, having just 5 here...or 6 if counting the 25G as a #10.

Would love to see a #10 family picture, if you find the time  :)
Cheers

Well I guess technically I only have 7. One is before it was called a model 10. Think it was called a Big Power Plant. Best I can figure out it was built around 1935. I think it is what started the model 10.

Thanks everyone. Enjoy collecting and building model and toy engines, and also the full size engines.
