That's one way to put it LOL!  She is right next to her #62 short boiler brother on the shelf.  Thought what made a engine a #43 vs #62 I don't know, the only difference between my short #62 & long #43 is the length & throttle.  Perhaps the manufactured time frame... I was a little bummed it wasn't stamped #62.

I have had so much fun working on these Empire engine's.  With all the time, effort, and money buying bits its really nice to have everything ready to get a new one running.  Though this time I did have to come up with a way to make the power leads to the AC plug.  I've been really lucky up until now not needing to make those.  I wouldn't say the were pretty but they are work and you can't see them.  The Hobby Lobby tin I used is only slight stiffer than then originals but still pliable to bend as needed to make their connections to the AC studs.

I wished I had a way to display them all in one place but this engine is with others like on bookcase in my bedroom.  A few months back my Ex was over and noticed them.  She said, Jesus Christ Richard, you have more of these engines?!?!  I told here, actually there is one more in my office.  I though her eyes are going to get stuck in her head when she rolled them LOL

Hopefully I'll come across a B-43 strapped tank at some point.  My holy grail / unicorn is the rarely seen, other than the Empire book, smaller battery engine B-44.  Granted there are about one or two other variations that I'd like to have... so I am always looking for what is one sale :-)
