Jensen #50, production # 6/ 2016
« on: March 08, 2019, 04:53:15 pm »
This is my Jensen #50; Prod.nr. 6 / 2016 of the "new" #50`s.

If I ever (knock on wood) would have to narrow down my collection to a few models; this is the one I would like to keep.

The close and personal follow up by Steve and the rest of the Jensen team, contributed to enhance the experience.

I got some nice accessories which fits my #50 very well: Geoff (ozdeamon) made me a aux-steamoutlet-set for the #50; making it easy to run stand-alone engines from it. He also made me a separate watertower and chuffpot; which is perfect for the #50.

Pictures below. Also a video of my 50. In the end of the video, have a look at my slinkey-accessorie :-)

Very nice "steam-outlet", having them nickel-plated to match the Jensen was a very good idea  8)

Is this the first of the new 50's to leave the US? Is it the only 50 outside of the US?

I would love to hear what it cost to ship that beast! ;)

Thanks. My 50 got a 230 V heating-element;and is otherwise US-spec.
My belief is that my model was the first to go of the american continent. How ever, I did not ask about that. Considering the motivation of getting the 50, and the total cost; the postage-cost was the least of my worries when ordering it ;-)
Cheers :-)

Thank you Carl.  Eventhough I got a 50 myself, I enjoy other owners experiences, pictures and videos. I hope to see & hear more about your experiences over time :-)
Cheers :-)

Wow Ola.  I'm am surprised (pleasantly) to see you acquire at 50!  Like Nick, I have to think this is the first 50 to Europe?.  Great video... and the more you run it, the better it will run.
