Pretty engines, both.  Kissin' cousins. 

  As to the leak.  A couple drops in a minute or so...not too
bad for an old engine.  I would hesitate to do anything to fix
it UNLESS it will not run under steam.  Even then, try the most
minimal 'fix' to try and seal it.  Look to this Forum for sealing
advice if that is how you plan to go.
