Well, I voted, but there was little joy in it!

The least voted offering here could easily be a runaway winner on a different day .... but not today, and not against such stiff competition!

Always so difficult because I'd vote for all if possible.

Once again....

I had to vote for an entry other than my own 1 HP A.J. Weed Steam Engine.

It was that amazing piece of hardware.... The 1/3 scale case that grabbed my vote!

    Congratulations, Elwin...!!!

It is a wonderful entry and deserving winner.

That said, all of the entries this time around would be a great EOTM.

This is an interesting time in our forum's Engine of the Month contest.

We have an Engine of the Month winner who was not a member.

How did this happen?  A simple oversight.

Had me laughing.... Our invitations for entries in EOTM do not state anywhere that an entry must belong to a member and the invites also publish 2 of my e-mail addresses to be used for submission of entries some of our invites are also re-posted on Facebook.

While it came out of an oversight that took nearly 2 years to surface, I am quite pleased with the result. Our first non-member entry is also our first non-member winner!

Elwin is now a member and b7100 is his handle.

Welcome aboard, Elwin...!!!

from Connecticut,

Gil
