How does one even begin to make a choice here?

May have to get out the dart board, but I'll think on it for a while first!

That's what I was thinking Daniel , I looked at the 1st one & thought "that's the one" then I started looking at the rest....there's no way to choose just one , maybe we need a collage of them all.

Not a bad idea Bruce!

I was just thinking that perhaps we should put an all of the above option on this poll only, and see how that does?

Since there is so much great stuff offered up for our votes, and we already know who the winner will be, perhaps we can get Nick to post the 2 with the most votes like he did for us when we had a tie.

Well....I picked just one , but there was no joy in it , as I remember Scott unveiling each of these engines to us, not all that long ago.

This is a very appropriate honor for our friend, Scott.

He made it to the pinnacle of collecting special German engines.

I remember his earlier years in our hobby and as his tastes and experience advanced, he grew laser focused on the special German engines.

The choosing by us.... of his Marklin Hammermaschine for Engine of the Month and says a lot about our understanding of the engines offered up to select from. All 5 of them can easily be seen as an Engine of the Month.

A fitting tribute to our friend and friend to our hobby... Scott. "OilField_Steam"

I only wish he were here to see this. I miss him.
