I’ll have to watch the video when I’m inside, but did you happen to add a Russell Snyder distillery?  ;D

It's on the far left of the picture, I know Gil had one, and I'm assuming it left with Charlie  8)

Auction Purchase. The builder is a friend of Gil, Joe Higgins. Engine was built in 1994. Joe is in attendance. So, I got a picture of him with the engine. Joe built it in 1994 and it has been on display for many years at CF. I thought it was a good addition to the Beam Engine theme.

Besides the wooden beam, were there any other successful forum member bids at the auction?

…Tomorrow is our last day at Cabin fever.
Charlie is a Wonderfull host to us, and he's the man who made this journey become reality.
So the wife and I, don't know if there are words enough to say how thankful we are, that he's doing this for us.

We also are very grateful to Gil and Simone to take us into there home as guests, and it was a real tread to look at the pearls of his Office of steam.
Gil you got a Wonderfull collection, and we enjoyed every Minuit spending with you and your family…

It was also a great joy, to meet this nice group of members attending Cabin Fever, who made us so welcome to the show.
Guys it was and is an unbelievable beautiful moment and privilege to have met you, we always will remember this…

I hope that it won't be the last time we saw each other, maybe back in the USA or who knows maybe one day in Europe, or better in Belgium…
Should you ever plan to come over, you're always welcome…

Our journey isn't over jet, our host Charlie still has a nice plan worked out for a journey dow to Texas.
We are going to meet few more members, and I'm already looking forward to meet them.

Cabin Fever made my expectations come true, although the interest in type, age, is different to what I use to collect.
This show is a must go to, as the atmosphere, friendliness and people you meet, is beyond words.
I made some photos and videos of the event.
Just give me a couple of days, I've edit everything into one…

To everyone and especially Charlie, a very big "thank you all", we will n not forget this…

Cheers, Danny

Really enjoyed that post Danny... words cannot describe how great of a guy Charlie is. I have been on the receiving end of his generosity more than once and although I have only met him twice for a short period of time, he has become one of my greatest friends  :)

I am blushing Nick. What a wonderful time we had at Cabin Fever. 🤠

We made it fro Lebanon PA to Fairmont WV today. We had dinner at a great Italian Restaurant where my wife and I ate almost 35 years ago for our first anniversary.

Tomorrow we will drive 300 miles to Lexington KY for a visit with Brent and then onto Birmingham to visit with Benny.
