Table Top Display - March 1st 2025 - Forest City, IA

I will combine this with the 2025 online Global Power Up again this year. There is a hotel next door to the showgrounds, would be great to have a few forum members there again!

Are tables and chairs provided for exhibitors, or do we need to bring our own? I would need about 6' - 8' of space.

Yes, tables and chairs are available (the ones shown in my video above and plenty more available if needed). There is no permanent air supply like at some shows, but air can be brought over from the neighboring shop. I know one guy brought an air compressor last year. Not sure, but I believe you are more gas engines? Can’t guarantee a huge crowd of visitors, I know they are advertising it better in the area this year, but it was a fun get-together to run engines with friends. If anyone is bringing electric heated steam engines, I would recommend an extension cord.

OK, sounds good. Yes, I mostly have IC engines and I don't expect to need air.

I can’t recommend one over the other as I haven’t stayed at either one… The Forest City Inn’s parking lot touches the showgrounds. The Cobblestone Inn & Suites is 5 minutes or less away and is a lot newer/bigger. The show hours say till 4:30 on Saturday, but many of us stayed quite late Saturday evening and ordered pizza and had fun steaming engines.

A show I would have like to see...

Besides this, we see a train of beers at the beginning of the video and it is empty at its end, Who drunk te beers  ;D  ?

There was an accident with an RC truck, a few were knocked off/punctured and had to be shotgunned/chugged 😂 all after hours of course 😉

I haven’t heard for sure yet… I know it’s a fragile piece to haul around! But the popcorn sure was good  :D
