« on: September 15, 2020, 10:59:27 am »
Hope this won’t be the case for all 2021 shows...  :-\

If this Wuhan Flu behaves anything like a normal influenza, then I think most gatherings are doomed to be cancelled during the winter months when infection rates are almost certain to climb dramatically. This coming winter will likely go far to show us what we are really up against with this disaster of a disease.

Not really since there is a lot of planning and organising involved ( i should know since i ran it for one year!).

I'm just happy we have access to the beam engines again as there is a lot of maintenance to do, even though events have been cancelled.

Yes, it is early, but I guess necessary for those making a lot of plans to get there... This takes place after Cabin Fever, which I really want to get to, but I need to start planning for that by October... I don’t really want to get a vehicle rented, hotels booked and everyone ask off for work if it’s only going to be cancelled last minute...

I had planned on going to a threshing show this past weekend. They were basically bragging on facebook that they were one of the only ones happening in MN still this year and then they went and cancelled with only 6 days notice. Made a lot of angry people who probably had a lot ready for the show...
