The cross cut saw is so elegant and functional!

Has me contemplating one made from Meccano or Märklin Metall... mmm... :)

I actually just spent a little more time on it reaming out the brass bearing blocks to make it even smoother, its been operating next to my chair for the last few hours. I know I really like something when I bring it in & set it on the table next to my chair while watching TV.
If you would like any further technical info on it...I would be happy to make some measurements on another video.

I took some screen shots from the video for ratios. ;)

I'm wondering if that cart you showed is an Irish Mail Cart?

Really unique and well crafted machines! I have seen circular saws and band saws in miniature but no splitters.

That bottom video is "perfect" for an application of this model sweep, I can hook a cheap Chinese generator up to the pto & keep everything tucked inside the travel circle of the horses...thx for the idea. 😉😊

Oh, Ye of little faith, SPS stables are working on it right now to genetically modifying Falabella horses with teacup chihuahua to come up with the perfect pulling ponies for my model sweep.

Thank you to all who participated in this 2024 global power up.
