Next is drive units from 2 Märklin verticals. One of them has a cast frame. I now know that to be 100 years old and has a special split valve connecting rod to drive a feed pump. Since the cylinder volumes are roughly 2 to 1, I arranged them as a Woolf Compound. Works very well and is economical with steam. #25 chain is very tough and rather elegant.
