Perfect... sounds like me the first time I steamed it  :) :) :)

Talk about "it went to a good home"!

Great video Nick.

Well executed video Nick! 🤠

Thanks Charlie  :)

Love the left-hand v right-hand 135's.  Thanks Nick.

There is still a blue model (in between these two) that I have seen and would like to add to the collection... can't remember which side the engine was on that one...

What do mean by a blue model Nick? Mine looks just like the one on the left, blue base but with the brass boiler.

Love the video Nick.

The engine ran flawlessly.

And the joy on your boys faces pulling the whistle is precious.

Thanks for your many contributions for GPU 2020.

Warmest regards,
Charlie

Thank you for making it to all of the tables!!  :)

I still have one more video to upload that I filmed late last night...

My description wasn't the best, I'll see if I can find a picture... from memory, it had a "smoke effect" base with blue trim/engine base, likely made some time between my 2 models.

Here we go, from the Ventix pages, this would be a 1951 model I'm looking for...

As soon as you said smoked base I knew just what you mean't and your picture confirmed it. I've seen those before but it's been a long time.
It's like nobody wants to get rid of them. You'll find one,   and then another,    and another and,     well you know how this goes.

Thanks Charlie, this wasn't even on my bidding list from the Hirschberg Auction, but after losing out on all the D&C lots that I wanted, I ended up going for this. Glad I did as it was bigger than I expected  :)

From the Ventix pages, I have dated my older model to 1946/7 and the newer model 1959.

I had two newer examples for a short period... I thought they were the same age, but it looks like the one I sold on (left) was the 1965 model. The only differences I can see are in the flywheel, pressure gauge, decal and whistle handles:

Came back before the tables get locked, missed your post! Thanks Jan! I never knew of so many variations either, just like Jensens, new ones pop up from time to time  :)
