Next up, let me introduce the greatest air hog of the bunch, one that my compressor and air tank may not be quite up to giving it a full performance, and most certainly my valve tree with its diminutive valve orifice is quite incapable of doing it justice, as large volumes are needed just to get it spinning at a decent speed. I picked this one up second hand, and late in the acquisition cycle, which is good as had I got it early, I may not have gotten any more. I suspect that this one is a very early offering, and Richard's design and construction rapidly improved shortly after the release of this rather blocky, shall we say less than attractive, turbine. Tangentially fed off-center, in a totally enclose square block of a housing, while dual exhausting nearly 90o to flow, makes me think that this might not be a very efficient design to start with. Be that as it may, it does produce a bit of audible base, and would certainly perform better given adequate air.
