This seems to be the day the M92's reached some of our homes.
Right away I put in batteries and fuel and lubed a few spots, gave it a twist and off she went.
It has a neat look to it and that it's timing and regulating components are a bit over-sized for this scale makes the details easier to see.
Don't get me wrong the parts are still small.
It ran considerably fast for my liking and for longevity.
I was able to ferret out the best way to reduce the speed.
First the ignition timing should be right at or a hair after top dead center.
I may experiment with slightly advancing the exhaust valve timing at some point in the future.
Next I took the governor part way apart and removed the tiny spring from inside the finial and cut one coil winding off of it.
This shortened it enough to tame the beast a fair amount.
