I’ve done the choke and spin method as well. I’ve also used my needle syringe I refill the tank with to clear the line.  Simply by feel, I use the needle to find the nipple where the fuel line attached to the tank, advance the needle a bit into the nipple, and push a bit of fuel. It clears the line nicely as well, without resorting to pulling the line off the tank.
